Reishi mushroom ( Ganoderma lucidum / lingzhi / lingzhi mushroom ) originates from mountainous Asian countries such as China, Korea and Japan. Although it can be found here in Lithuania under the name of lingzhi mushroom, it is listed in the Red Book and is strictly protected. This mushroom usually grows on stumps and stumps of hardwood trees. It also particularly likes moisture and shade. The mushroom harvest is collected in August and October.

Reishi mushrooms are kidney-shaped and can grow up to 20 cm or more in diameter. Reishi mushrooms have been used in traditional Asian medicine for over 2000 years. They contain active compounds including triterpenoids, polysaccharides, steroids, fatty acids, amino acids, nucleosides, proteins and alkaloids.

Purpose: for mood, sleep, stress and anxiety relief, immune system, liver function, heart function, stomach function, cell protection from damage, menopause.

Dried Reishi mushrooms are ground using a special industrial (superfine grinding) method until they are practically dust-like.

This breaks down chitin, releasing a wide range of beneficial substances. Chitin is the main building material of fungal cell walls, which is also the skeleton of arthropods. If the chitin molecule is not broken down, the beneficial substances remain "closed" in the cell and are removed from the body through the digestive process. Chitin can also be broken down by thermally treating mushrooms: by boiling, frying or freezing them, but the percentage of chitin broken down in this way is very small, therefore, if you decide to use mushrooms as a dietary supplement, you would have to eat an impossible amount of them.

Additionally, mushroom powder is dried in a vacuum with constant stirring, which further disrupts the fungal cell walls, increasing the bioavailability of intracellular substances.

Storage conditions: Store at room temperature, in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.

Instructions for use: 2 capsules 1-3 times a day. One capsule contains 500 mg of dried reishi mushroom powder. Recommended daily intake: 1-3 g. Recommended for use in the evening.
