A high dose of vitamin B12.
In supplements, vitamin B12 is most often found in two forms – cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin.
Methylcobalamin is a natural vitamin B12 that is immediately available to the human body. It can be obtained both from supplements and from regular food – fish, meat, eggs or dairy products. Another form of vitamin B12 can also be found in food supplements – cyanocobalamin. This is an artificial, naturally occurring form of the vitamin. It is common due to its lower price, but the body must first convert it into the active form – methylcobalamin, in order to use it.
5’-adenosylcobalamin can also be used in supplements – another natural form of vitamin B12, found in the human body together with methylcobalamin.
In ECOSH Vitamin B12 dietary supplement you will find two bioactive forms – methylcobalamin and 5′-adenosylcobalamin.

A bioactive substance (e.g., bisglycinate or folate) can immediately participate in biochemical reactions in cells, which is extremely important for the body. In contrast, inactive vitamins must first be converted into their active – coenzyme – form in order to be used. Such conversion requires additional enzymatic reactions. Meanwhile, bioactive vitamins are already in coenzyme form, so they can be used immediately in cells, without additional chemical transformations.
